He will spend a month in a tiny Nepalese village.
He had always wanted to go to Nepal.
He leaves tomorrow.
A month later he received an offer of a place for July.
He saw an advertisement for volunteers in Nepal.

She had been studying at university.
She had nearly finished her degree.
She was feeling optimistic.
She applied for the job.
She is looking forward to starting it.
She saw an interesting job advertised on the internet.
She was interviewed.
Two days later, she was offered the job.
She will graduate in June.
She will start work in July.
